12.04.05 The Lumen Hotel. This shot was created in the court yard at The Lumen Boutique Hotel across from Southern Methodist University. The image was put together using a total of 20 single images at different exposures. Then layering in the fireplace was an additional 24 images to create the movement of the fire. This took some time to create but now I think i’ve got it. The movement makes for an interesting image. Don’t ya think?
12.01.03. Alyssa Lile sliding on a tree stump across Blue Mesa Lake west of Gunnison, Colorado. The lake had frozen over so we took advantage of the bad snow season by strapping on hockey skates. A few minutes on the ice to steady myself and I was ready to start taking some photos. This image turned out great. Alyssa was a blast to photograph, her smile makes the shot. I can’t wait to visit Colorado next year…
12.01.03. Crested Butte, Colorado. Harlan Hudson carving some manufactured snow on International. The snow this year was pretty bad, the worst year for snow in 20 years, but we managed to make the best of it.
11.11.08. Cook Children’s Hospital. An amazing place, the staff the doctors and nurses. I would work for them for free if I could afford it. The heart surgery was a success and the doctor who preformed the surgery was a class act, he even had time to tell us NO flash photography. Of course we had already taken about 20 flash images. We all stopped in our tracks. laughter ensued and we all went back to work. What a place what an experience…
111118_Atmos Energy “Safety”Annual Report. The orange devise is a new type of control valve that is wirelessly opens and closes. It took more than ten people to install. This was the last image of the day, as it goes the last is usually the best.
